I just wanted to draw a circle in the best way I could. At first it was just a big yellow sphere. But then I imagined a fish bowl (without fishes). And then I started fragmenting the bowl playing with tones of green as different refraction of light. And then the rest of the background followed the same fate, until the whole painting took a very abstract turn. This is a "four-sided" painting: meaning you can hang it in every direction you prefer, because it doesn't have one.
